The Shield of Calatria

The Shield of Calatria is the military force among the Elvae, tasked with defending the ancient city-state of Calatria and its people.

The Calatrian Archers are renowned for their unmatched bow skill and incredible ability to strike from a distance. These rangers are highly specialized in mounted combat, riding the massive, flightless Rhacos birds, a species unique to Calatria. These creatures, known for their speed and endurance, provide the Archers with unparalleled mobility across the vast, biodiverse landscapes of Calatria’s forests and plains.

The Elvaedri are the melee specialists of the Shield of Calatria, known for their exceptional speed, stealth, and lethal precision in close combat. These warriors are trained to move unseen and strike before their enemies even realise they are there, making them living shadows in the dense woods surrounding Calatria. Their ability to blend into their surroundings is unparalleled, often disappearing into the foliage or shadows and reappearing at the most unexpected moments.
