# Riverdemon

The **Riverdemons** are carnivorous reptiles that have successfully adapted to living on land, mainly preying in wetland areas around Tyrrha.

 A solitary hunter, Riverdemons are characterised by their lean physique, a deadly tail used to constrict their prey, and a head that reminds of the long-extinct nautical dragons. They are regarded as extremely dangerous as they are incredibly fast-paced over short distances, catapulting themselves from shallow water onto their prey. Like the Morphus, Riverdemons can shift to different hues and degrees of brightness, using their camouflage to remain unseen. 

Their primal intelligence and stellar physical qualities have led to widespread hunting campaigns by both the human races and the Urthnaki and Elvae. However, it is being said that the Demon is not allowed to be hunted as it chooses the rider it deems fit.
