Key items
Key Items are items used to advance in Vendor Cluster Quests, gain access to new areas, or unlock new gameplay features. For now, Key Items are locked quest items, serving as keys to proceed with quests.
Example:
After completing Vendor 1 in Vendor Cluster 1, the player obtains a rusty key. The player can proceed to Vendor 2 in Vendor Cluster 1 - the rusty key still needs to be needed. After completing Vendor Cluster 1, the player has to choose: use the rusty key to enter Vendor Cluster 2.1, or discard the key and enter Vendor Cluster 2.2.
Additionally, choosing the use of the key item will consequently set you on a renegade/paragon trajectory. However, using the key item does not always mean ‘renegade’ or ‘paragon’: some Vendor Clusters will leave these indicators out, making it all about choosing ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on using key item - this initiates positive stress and tension in the player, as he does not know clearly what’s next.
Mysteral Dagger
Made 400 Sunshifts ago by an ancestor of Daqos Dark, the Mysteral Dagger was crafted as a ceremonial weapon, a gift given during the coronation of the last Stormking of Tirros. As per tradition, the Stormking buried the gifted blade in the deep snow of the Hadaki Basin, leaving the dagger for time to spit it out to the surface.

Tidewave Necklace
A relic worn by the last Stormqueen of Tirros, Halia Shin, who, according to legend, gave the necklace to a young deep-miner as a token of gratitude for those who work in the darkest depths of the Hadakian realm. According to legend, the necklace gives its wielder the power to bend time in its favour.

Mist of Life
The Mist of Life was crafted by the Orderlings of Tirros and designed to give a deceptive sense of immortality before ultimately causing the body to decay and the soul to suffer eternal torment. This alchemical creation was intended to warn against humanity's pursuit of eternal life - an abomination for the Hadaki, who believe in the cyclical nature of existence.
