“My name’s Duziq Qahar. I’m a Shragaian smuggler raised in the underworld of the Empire by Sendar Grek, the leader of the Shragaian smuggler syndicate. He took me in after my mother and sister were abducted and murdered by Imperial soldiers. All my life, I have known one thing: I will avenge my family’s death and bring the Empire down to its knees.

My mentor and guardian, Grek, has taught me to navigate the treacherous paths of smuggling and sabotage. His latest plan is our most daring yet: to obliterate the Imperial visi-signals by destroying the To'ashir see-stone, an object used to control and manipulate far beyond the Empire’s reaches. Grek has crafted a wirefuse detonating system, an intricate creation that could blind the Empire forever. Grek must stay hidden from the Empire's gaze, leaving the dangerous task of finding the particles to someone else. That someone must be me. I must be that someone.

I was devastated to learn I wouldn’t be part of his plans, considering my position to him. So, I’ve assassinated Arton, my primary rival for this mission. It was a necessary move, albeit ruthless, to frame him as a thief and traitor. In this game, sentiment has no place; every decision is a calculated step towards our ultimate goal, my ultimate goal—the destruction of the Duxa Empire.

Sendar Grek called me in on the claim that I framed Arton for the mission. Now, I’m awaiting trial, ready for whatever is to come.”
