Roadmap

The Chains of War roadmap details our progression from initial concept to future expansions.

The Chains of War roadmap highlights major accomplishments that have shaped our foundation—like the successful launch of the Genesis Heroes and Mounts collections, the development of our PC-based Fantasy RPG Extraction Looter (FREL), and the introduction of $MIRA tokens—while also outlining the ambitious next steps. Milestones from 2025 onward represent our forward-looking plans, not yet realized, as we continue building toward a fully fleshed-out, blockchain-integrated gaming ecosystem.

2022

• Whitepaper v1 Launched the first formal document outlining our vision, gameplay mechanics, and long-term objectives.

• Roadmap v1 Introduced the initial development blueprint, guiding our early decisions and short-term strategies.

• Heroes Collection - Buy Heroes Released the Genesis Heroes: 10,000 fully 3D NFTs representing four species and multiple factions. This cornerstone collection set the stage for utility and gamification.

• Team Expansion Grew from an initial four-member core team to include moderators, a developer, a map designer, and a 3D artist, strengthening our talent pool and capabilities.

• Website Creation - Visit Chainsofwar.io Launched our official website as a central hub for information and updates.

• Formation of Blue Fork BV Established our legal entity to secure intellectual property rights, manage taxation, and support sustainable business operations.

2023

• Mount Collection - Buy Mounts Introduced Genesis Mounts: high-quality, game-ready 3D NFT mounts compatible with Unreal Engine 5. These can be used directly in-game or leased to other players.

• Trademark Registration Secured European trademarks to protect the Chains of War brand.

• PC Game Development Kickoff Began developing Chains of War for Windows PC using Unreal Engine 5, focusing first on single-player mode in our Free-to-Play Fantasy RPG Extraction Looter (FREL) framework.

• MIRA Airdrop - Buy Mira Distributed $MIRA tokens to Genesis Hero holders, integrating community-driven value and paving the way for an in-game economy.

• Non-Custodial Staking - Claim staking rewards here Implemented a staking system that allows players to earn rewards while maintaining full custody of their NFTs.

• Minswap Liquidity Farm - Trade $MIRA on the largest Cardano DEX here Launched a $MIRA liquidity farm on Minswap, improving token accessibility and liquidity.

2024

• SP Closed Alpha (PC) Conducted a closed alpha test of the single-player game to refine gameplay, gather feedback, and optimize balance.

• Roadmap v2 An updated roadmap was released clarifying our vision and aligning milestones with ongoing community feedback and technological progress.

• CEX Listing (Tier 3) IN PROGRESS Listing $MIRA on a tier-3 centralized exchange, enabling more direct access to tokens with fiat currencies.

• DEX Listings (Tier 1) IN PROGRESS Expanding to top-tier decentralized exchanges, enhancing $MIRA liquidity and market reach.
